A cozy game about selling books in a small town by the seaside. ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Sound:

The soundtrack in this game consists of very chill and light tunes which adds to the comfy factor greatly. Majority of the sounds in the game are delicate and breezy just like the theme of the location. However, I do personally find that there is a lack of variety in the music and would love to hear a bit more of upbeat sounds in locations like the bustling flea market. Take this with a grain of salt as I have only played for 38 minutes and have much left of the game to explore.

Narrative:

From the 38 minutes I have played, there seems to be a lack of a main storyline. Besides getting to know each character, there is no main plot. Each character does have interesting dialogues and cute personalities though! As the main focus of the game is to start a new life through selling books, it does make sense for the lack of lore though it may be unappealing to those who are interested in such.

You can pet a dog though!

User experience:

I would describe my experience playing this game to be a very smooth ride. The transitions between each panel is quite seamless and the UI is easy to navigate. There is also not a crazy amount of controls which can contribute to making a game feel overwhelming in my opinion. The tutorial in the game is well-crafted and easy to understand. Overall a delightful experience with little stress.

Graphics:

The graphics in this game features a very simple 3D style that is quite reminiscent of game designs from the early 2000s but coloured with a modern touch. The game offers vibrant colours and scenery which are really beautiful. Though, I wish there was a little more depth in the transition between daytime and nighttime, such as featuring a brief glare from the sun to further amplify the views.
